Record Contract Signed – SwordArt is joining TSM for the League of Legends 2021 Season
Hu “SwordArt” Shuo-Chieh today signed a contract with TSM a 2 year, 6 Million dollar contract, which is a record by an esports player in any North American gaming league.
SwordArt, mentioned above, is a six-time regional champion. He was a 2020 Worlds finalist and a top tier support. He joins an already bolstered roster on TSM with a presumed line up of Huni, Spica, PoE, Lost and himself. Considering that TSM just had two different players retire that are legends in the game themselves, it did not appear that TSM was going to be competitive this season. With the recent roster changes, there is no reason to think that they will be anything less then ready to defend their summer split title this upcoming season.
