Twitch has listened to their community and have changed the way streamers and their mods interact with their previously banned viewers, including how long in between them being able to request an unbanning as well as entirely opting out of receiving these requests at all. This is a much needed feature for the community and has been asked about for a long time now. This comes in addition to the IP shadow bans they introduced at the end of March of this year.
✏️ Channel owners can now set a cooldown period before an unban request can be sent, which Mods can see in the widget. Channel owners can also now opt out of receiving requests. Both options can be updated in the Moderation section of the Dashboard.
